Using blogs is another tool I can use to do a lot more when it comes to sales. But I think I will leave it in the bottom of my tool box.

Social Media is hard work!
It has just reaffirmed the reason why I never went into this side of computers.
Being into social media is an ART form. I have a high respect for those that can master the it. I found out that I am neither good at being artful or very out going enough to want to spend so much time on the computer.
It takes Keeping up with not only the people you want to keep in touch with but you have to learn a new media platform every day!
And there are so many new tools that by the time you get to know one you have to change to another way of doing things.
For those of you who have real businesses that you have been working with, how has your use of social media changed over the semester?
Whats Changed is now I have a website and all the social media tied together.
Personally I have not seen any sales (Impact) from this class. I think I have done everything right , but no sales results yet. But everything takes time and tweaking. This social media stuff is new to me and keeping up with it will be easier now that we have finished the class. But don't expect anything wild from me.

For those of you who came to class to develop a better understanding of social media, has your viewpoint of social media changed?
My view point has not changed. Social media is something that takes time to develop.
It is an art form. Either you have the ability by nature or ability to learn it. I know it. I just don't like doing things I am not good at. To be good at social media you have to get to know sociology ,physicality and statistic. Much more than just how to make a pretty website. Social media is another fancy way of saying "Advertising" Advertising COST PERIOD! Time and or money.
You have to devote a large portion of your time staying on top of what you think you knew because they just came up with another one for you to learn. And now you have to change everything you just spent so much time on. Things have to be redone or new material has to be invented.
I have been into computer for a while. But there are different FIELDS of study in computers. And media just is not the side I excel at. SEE Pic Below
Do you have a better understanding of how to use it successfully to develop a business?
Yes. Understanding that they are there. What and how to use it Yes. Being able to use it wisely , questionable. Being good at it! Never.
Or just to find businesses, services and products you want to use yourself? Yes I have used Google Advance search before the class.
