First I have to apologize to Everyone. If you read my blogs I am sorry for you.
Using blogs is another tool I can use to do a lot more when it comes to sales. But I think I will leave it in the bottom of my tool box.

I have nothing but good things to say about the teachers and the material.
Social Media is hard work!
It has just reaffirmed the reason why I never went into this side of computers.
Being into social media is an ART form. I have a high respect for those that can master the it. I found out that I am neither good at being artful or very out going enough to want to spend so much time on the computer.
It takes Keeping up with not only the people you want to keep in touch with but you have to learn a new media platform every day!
And there are so many new tools that by the time you get to know one you have to change to another way of doing things.
For those of you who have real businesses that you have been working with, how has your use of social media changed over the semester?
Whats Changed is now I have a website and all the social media tied together.
Personally I have not seen any sales (Impact) from this class. I think I have done everything right , but no sales results yet. But everything takes time and tweaking. This social media stuff is new to me and keeping up with it will be easier now that we have finished the class. But don't expect anything wild from me.

For those of you who came to class to develop a better understanding of social media, has your viewpoint of social media changed?
My view point has not changed. Social media is something that takes time to develop.
It is an art form. Either you have the ability by nature or ability to learn it. I know it. I just don't like doing things I am not good at. To be good at social media you have to get to know sociology ,physicality and statistic. Much more than just how to make a pretty website. Social media is another fancy way of saying "Advertising" Advertising COST PERIOD! Time and or money.
You have to devote a large portion of your time staying on top of what you think you knew because they just came up with another one for you to learn. And now you have to change everything you just spent so much time on. Things have to be redone or new material has to be invented.
I have been into computer for a while. But there are different FIELDS of study in computers. And media just is not the side I excel at. SEE Pic Below
Do you have a better understanding of how to use it successfully to develop a business?
Yes. Understanding that they are there. What and how to use it Yes. Being able to use it wisely , questionable. Being good at it! Never.
Or just to find businesses, services and products you want to use yourself? Yes I have used Google Advance search before the class.

What I need to know is? What it is going to take to get me inside of one of these things and run it!!

Can't come up with an idea,instead post
However, if you just can't come up with an idea, you may instead post
any comments you have about our Google Apps class. Some suggestions:
The class was great. There has been such a change in the way we play, do business, socialize, create, come up with, keep track of and how the web is now a big storage data base that houses all of our thoughts ,personal data , pictures.
This is not the time to buy stock in file cabinets company's.
It is not just good enough to be in business but you have to have a Presence on the web.
There has been so much that has changed from when I started, keeping up is a challenge.
I have a hard enough time just learning all the gadgets and apps. I don't have any idea what could be missing. And NO IDEA on what I could come up with.
It use to be that I would build a computer off the shelf parts, install the operating system and make sure that it connected to the internet. Nowadays the device comes with the operating system and the internet ready for you to use .
If you break the device or something goes wrong and it will not work you just throw it away and get another. There are no more repairs .
What's Google?
When I started Google, apps and gadgets were ideas in someones head and we were running windows 98.
We had no apps or gadgets.
Google and the apps and gadget have grown by the day instead by the year. So does the way we do business.
The idea of hosting all the files on a big server that can be accessed over the web from anywhere is a great idea. I wish it was around when I started , It would have made the transfer of files from someones broken down computer and putting on their new computer so much easier.
Do I know more? How much more is there? Don't answer that I'll see you in the next class.
My line of work was in getting you the product that you needed to do the kind of work YOU do.
Once you are up and running , What you did with it was your business. I just make'm work.
Suggestion?

It has been a long time since I was in school , I am just doing my best to keep up. While on medication.
So I would like to thank the teachers, and apologize for being a bit short. The meds mess with your mind and you mood, which lately for me has not been good because of the amount of pain I am in all the time.
So thank you teachers. I had a good time learning. I hope I did well enough to pass.

Chapter 14 Likeable Social Media
This chapter is just what I have been saying. Now days you have to have a whole company behind you just for the public media side of business. Things are changing and some task are easier. But the importance of acting as quickly as possible to peoples post blogs and tweets can mean the difference of being in business or being behind the times and out of business.

The enthusiasm or lack there of for a type of media is often shared along with the posts we write.
Ya got me there lady, My friends say that they can read right through me. So I am sunk here!
I have learned a little trick here and there but I guess this course just covered a side of cloud computing I just never had the use for. And if I had taken this course 20 years ago I might have a little more knowledge and greater respect for those who do use it regularly.
. Now you can focus in on what seems the most effective ones to use.

A pattern is what you do on a regular bases.
Everyone has their own way of going about it.
And with so many different ways to do them the best way is what works for you.

Those who are really on top of things use Twitter and Facebook, and a host of other portals to keep in touch with everyone every second of the day .
Planning for post to go out, making new links on your web page, answer question or respond to e-mails , compose e-mail and all the other work that needs to be done. There is no set way of scheduling.

Using some of the apps you can make getting what you want done over several different sites done quickly. The ability to use scheduling makes a good portion of work easier.

I don't know about you but after this class if I never run into ,come across or hear someone use the word "BLOG"
I am going to explode. I never want to use one, read one or talk about someone Else's blog.
I will be so glad when this class is over. I am going to delete everyone of those blog post I did and I hope and pray that no one saw any of them.
This would have been nice to read is about 8 weeks ago.

I would have to take a year or two just to get use to using all the things there are to use.
Strategy is a word that implies that you have goals that are far reaching. I just got started again in a new life and my goal is to live without pain. A new job may be out of the question.

Well I will have to take a pass on this one. I have no real site to begin with.
Next month I go back into surgery and I will only have one hand for the rest of the summer.
So once this class is over everything gets deleted until next year when I decide what to do. I know that I have been taught a lot of good tricks about getting the message out to people.
